FAQ

Can I select my delivery date?

Yes, at checkout you'll be able to select your prefered delivery date (Mon to Sat). Please note if a date is unavailable on the dater picker that means we're sold out for that day or not delivering e.g. public holiday.

Can I request a specific delivery time?

Yes. See below for details:

  • Anytime Delivery (Anywhere in Sydney) - $9. Your order will arrive at some time between 8.00am and 3.30pm. You'll receive an SMS around 7am on the delivery day with a 2 hour ETA window so you'll know when to expect your order.
  • VIP Delivery (between 8am and 10am) - $35 (if delivery suburb is Sydney CBD, it's $20)
  • VIP Delivery (between 9am and 11am) - $25 (if delivery suburb is Sydney CBD, it's $20)

Can I track my order?

At around 7am on delivery day, you'll receive an SMS with your driver's details and a 2 hour delivery ETA window (if Anytime Delivery was selected), so you'll know when to expect your order.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is $9 to any Sydney suburb. Specific time delivery options are available at an extra cost - see below:

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to all suburbs of Metropolitan Sydney. If you're based in Melbourne, our distributor in Melbourne is Cake Run. They stock all our products and deliver to all suburbs in Melbourne Metro.

Can you deliver outside of Sydney?

Normally we don't. If the order amount is over $1000 we may deliver outside of Sydney, depending on delivery suburb. Enquire via live chat with customer service. If you're based in Melbourne, our distributor in Melbourne is Cake Run. They stock all our products and deliver to all suburbs in Melbourne Metro.

What days do you deliver?

We normally deliver Mon to Sat, and occasionally deliver Sundays depending on staff availability. If we are delivering on a particular Sunday a notice is published at the top of our website indicating so.

As a side note, if you're planning ahead for a Sunday event, you can have your order delivered on Sat and keep it refrigerated overnight. Our products are perfectly fine to store refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Do you offer same day delivery?

No.

How much notice do you need?

Next day delivery is available if you order by 4.30pm. Future delivery dates can also be selected.

My party is at a restaurant - can you deliver there?

Yes. If you have a party or function at a restaurant, pub, club or function centre, we can deliver your order straight there and we'll let you know once the order is delivered via SMS. You'll just need to check with the venue that they're open during business hours, otherwise delivery may not be possible.

Can I request an afternoon delivery?

No. We can't guarantee afternoon deliveries.

Can I pick up my order?

No. We are purely a delivery service covering all Sydney suburbs.
That said, our cakes are available to purchase in-store without a pre-order at Padstow Food Services (one of our partners). See Padstow Food Services & their opening hours here.

Note that if you purchase in-store from Padstow Food Service, cakes will need at least 3 hours to thaw before consuming as they are stored frozen.

Do you have a shop front?

No. We are purely a delivery service covering all Sydney suburbs.

Do you make smaller/bigger cake sizes?

No. We offer an 8-inch size (around 20cm) as this has proven to be most popular over the years. It serves up to 14 people.

Do you offer gluten free cakes?

Yes. Check them out here. They are very popular and you'll never guess that they're gluten free.

Are your cakes Halal?

Yes. We only use halal-based ingredients for all products. No alcohol is used in any of cakes or other sweets.

Do you have vegan cakes?

Yes. Our vegan chocolate cake is both vegan and gluten free. Very popular!

Are any of your cakes nut-free?

No.

Do your cakes have raw ingredients, e.g. raw eggs?

All our products are cooked throughout without any raw ingredients including eggs. All of our cakes are suitable for pregnant women.

Can your cakes be frozen?

Yes. Upon delivery, the product temperature sits at around 1-2 degrees celsius. You can store any of our products in the freezer for months. Once removed from the freezer, allow 3-4 hours for cakes to thaw. With macarons, they only need around 30mins to thaw once removed from the freezer.

What payment options are there?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Paypal, Paypal Pay in 4, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Debit cards are also accepted.

What is the minimum order for delivery?

Standard minimum order for delivery is $65 (some regional Sydney suburbs have a higher minimum).

On especially busy days min. order may be higher to cover staff overtime / penalty rates. These dates are:

  • Valentine's day / weekend
  • Easter long weekend
  • Mother's day weekend
  • Father's day weekend
  • Christmas eve
  • Christmas day
  • Boxing day
  • Any other similar holiday / cultural celebration dates

What if nobody is home to accept the delivery?

If there is no one to accept a delivery, the driver will call the contact number registered with the order for instructions. If contact can’t be made, the order will likely be returned to our kitchen.

Please note that our drivers usually cannot wait more than 10 mins at a delivery destination.

We offer redelivery of an order for $30, organised by customer service for orders that couldn't be delivered first time.

Do you offer custom products or changes to existing products?

No. Our products are sold 'as is', i.e. as they appear on our website. We don't tailor products ordered to specific customer needs.

Can I cancel my order?

We accept cancellations and will provide full store credit refund if order is cancelled before 4.30pm on business days. We do not offer cash refunds
