COVID19 has had a devastating impact worldwide on health, economy and especially small business.

We've had countless enquiries from customers asking about our COVID-safe practices, hygiene management and contactless delivery. We can confirm that being COVID-safe and maintaining a heightened level of hygiene is of utmost importance to us at Looma's.

Business As Usual for Looma's

Since the outbreak of COVID19 in Australia (around mid March 2020), it's always been business as usual for us. In fact, being an online cake delivery service covering all of Sydney, we feel our business model is resilient and flexible enough to cope with the shutdown we experienced March/April 2020, and any future shutdown if that should come to pass.

Rest assured that our 7 day, anywhere in Sydney service is uninterrupted. With people going out a lot less these days, we feel proud to be able to deliver birthday cakes and cake gifts so that special occasions can still be celebrated and enjoyed.

Updated Processes

  • Our team is taking extra precautions when it comes to hygiene and food safety. This includes kitchen staff as well as drivers. This is in addition to our already strict regime of cleanliness, sanitation and food safety.

  • Management is well informed and keeping up to date on COVID19 developments and advice from government.

  • We are executing business continuity plans where necessary (e.g. in cases where we cannot source usual ingredients (e.g.from Victoria)) to ensure minimal disruption to customer experience - whether that is product availability or service.

Contactless Delivery

Contactless delivery is now an option for any order. Customers simply need to request this in the order instructions when placing an order. Our drivers are vigilant and careful when delivering orders and will respect and facilitate any request for contactless delivery.
